Perfect for what we needed

We had a family funeral in the neighborhood and were so glad to find this house right around the corner from the family’s home. Great little backyard, back driveway parking that is off the busy street, large gleaming new kitchen with a huge island, well appointed and the included dish and laundry pods were a nice touch. Bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and very clean. The location on Richmond, as others have mentioned, makes the house a bit noisy for the front facing bedrooms and perhaps for some a bit less secure (it’s a very busy thoroughfare, with a mix of commercial businesses just down the street), but for us, we felt very comfortable and just kept the front door locked at all times. Honestly that’s likely a huge reason this house is better as a VRBO; for us this wasn’t a big deal at all, just might be for some. The property was very clean although there were some minor maintenance things that could be addressed (towel bars dangling, all the toilet paper holders ripped from the wall, small things but they are also easily fixed). It was a little odd entertaining family in a tragedy situation in the Avengers dining room, but to each his own on that I suppose. The property managers, Buzz vacation rentals, were extremely communicative, at times perhaps overly so, but better than the alternative. All in all we were really satisfied with our stay and would for sure stay here again!
